Zeldman’ın İstanbul seyahati.

Happy Cog Studios’un kurucusu, A List Apart Magazine’in yayımcısı ve fikir babası, “Designing With Web Standards” adli kitabın yazarı, web usability denince akla gelen ilk isim Jeffrey Zeldman’ın seneler once İstanbul’a yaptigi bir seyahat üzerine mektubunu okudum.

AS CASUALLY AS THE FLOWER GIRLS and lottery ticket vendors before him, the sun-browned man in the striped red shirt appears at our table. But this man does not smile.
“Passports,” he says.
“He is a plainclothes policeman,” explains Hasan, our Turkish host.
Bad news. For in this country, police power is absolute. Any cop can stop you, question you, make you disappear.
